Who is responsible
GreCruite is operated by TechGenies LLC, 2100 N Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082, USA. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@techgenies.com.
This policy covers the public GreCruite website and information we handle for our own account administration, billing, security and support. For those activities, TechGenies LLC determines the purposes of processing.
When an employer or recruiting firm uses GreCruite to manage candidate information, that organization generally determines how the information is used. We process it to provide their workspace under their instructions and the applicable service and data-processing agreements. Their own candidate privacy notice also applies.
Information and its sources
The information involved depends on how you interact with GreCruite.
- Website visits: technical request information such as IP address, browser, device information and security logs. If you consent to enabled analytics, public page visits, referring-site origin and signup-button interactions may also be measured.
- Accounts and workspaces: information you provide, including your name, work email, workspace name, account credentials, role and settings. Authentication credentials are used to provide and protect access.
- Subscriptions: selected plan, billing contacts, subscription status and transaction references. Payment details are handled through the payment provider used for your purchase, such as Stripe.
- Support and inquiries: the contact details, messages and relevant attachments you choose to send. Please avoid sending candidate records or sensitive information unless necessary for the request.
- Customer recruiting data: job requirements, CVs, candidate profiles, applications, interview information and recruiter feedback supplied by customers or applicants. Connected services may supply information that a customer authorizes GreCruite to use.
Why we use information
We use account, workspace and subscription information to provide the service, administer the customer relationship and fulfil our agreement. We use necessary records to meet legal obligations, maintain financial records and respond to lawful requests.
We use appropriate technical and security information to protect accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and keep the service working. Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, these activities may rely on legitimate interests, taking account of your rights, or on a legal obligation. Business-contact support may also rely on legitimate interests; steps requested before entering a contract may rely on contractual necessity.
Optional website analytics relies on your consent in our implementation. You can refuse it without losing access and withdraw it through Cookie settings. Cookie permission is separate from accepting service terms or subscribing to marketing email. We do not treat browsing, scrolling or silence as consent.
Website analytics and advertising
Our optional analytics service is Google Analytics 4 (Google). It is loaded only when it has been enabled for the site and this browser has given permission. If analytics is not enabled, Cookie settings will say so and the Google tag is not loaded.
The integration measures public marketing pages and selected signup and pricing clicks. It sends a page address without its query string or fragment, a fixed public-page title and, where available, only the origin of the referring website. Google also receives technical connection and device information and can produce approximate geographic reports. These reports are not a list of identified visitors.
This website integration excludes signed-in product pages, candidate application forms, CVs, account identifiers and form-field contents. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. It does not install advertising pixels, heatmaps or session-recording tools.
We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping this optional website analytics off. You may also use Cookie settings to decline or withdraw permission. Refusing analytics does not remove the necessary request and security processing involved in delivering the website.
Who receives information
Information may be handled by authorized TechGenies personnel and service providers supporting hosting, storage, account email, support, payment processing and the functions requested by a customer. Google receives analytics information only under the conditions described above. Stripe handles the payment functions used for Stripe subscriptions.
Contact-form inquiries are sent through Resend to our sales mailbox, including your name, email address, optional company and message. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
When a customer enables an integration or requests AI-assisted processing, the configured provider receives the information needed for that feature. For example, a requested AI review may send candidate application material and job requirements to the configured OpenAI provider. Hiring decisions remain the customer’s responsibility.
We may disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable protections. Workspace members receive information according to their authorized access. We do not use candidate records for public website analytics. The website tracking described here is not configured for sale of personal information or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Contact our privacy address for the providers and processing arrangements applicable to your deployment. A customer-operated enterprise deployment may have a different vendor and hosting arrangement from the hosted service.
International processing
TechGenies LLC is based in the United States. Depending on the service and providers used, information may be accessed or processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Laws and protections differ between countries.
Transfers regulated by UK or European data-protection law require an applicable transfer mechanism and any necessary supplementary measures. Customer deployment and supplier agreements must establish the relevant arrangements. Contact us for information about the countries and safeguards applicable to your data; this policy does not itself establish a transfer mechanism.
How long information is kept
We assess retention by the purpose of each record, whether an account or support matter remains active, applicable accounting and legal obligations, security needs, and the time needed to resolve disputes. Customer recruiting information is subject to the customer’s instructions and the applicable agreement, including deletion and backup arrangements.
The browser’s cookie choice lasts up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days without extending their expiry on each interaction. Google Analytics server-side retention is a separate property setting; its event and user data retention must be limited to two months before activation. Aggregated reporting may follow different retention rules.
Contact us for the retention arrangements applicable to your account or deployment, or to request deletion. Closing an account does not automatically remove records that must be retained by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Some rights are subject to exceptions. We may request proportionate verification to protect the information, and respond within the applicable legal timeline.
For US residents, applicable state laws may also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, to limit certain uses of sensitive information, and to appeal a declined request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. The applicability of a particular state law depends on its requirements and thresholds.
UK and EEA residents can raise a concern with the ICO or their local supervisory authority. Canadian residents can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate provincial authority. Australian residents can complain to us and, where applicable, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Send requests to info@techgenies.com with “GreCruite privacy request” in the subject. If your request concerns a job application or a recruiter’s workspace, identify the organization so we can direct the request to the party responsible. Do not send a password, government ID or full CV with your initial request.
Children and young people
The public marketing site and business-account signup are intended for adults acting in a professional capacity. Customers are responsible for lawful handling of applicants’ information, including any additional protections that apply to young applicants. Contact us if you believe information about a child has been provided inappropriately.
Policy changes
We update this page when relevant practices change and display the revision date. Material changes may require additional notice or a new consent choice. A new policy does not retroactively authorize processing that requires your permission.
